Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift starting at 10:45 am
  • Weekdays only
  • On-call: 3 shifts within a 4-week schedule
Core Responsibilities:
  • Apply the full nursing process for surgical patients, ensuring patient-centered, evidence-based care
  • Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary team members through effective communication
  • Lead or participate in performance improvement, mentoring, and professional development activities
  • Deliver safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced operating room, acting as a circulator
  • Accurately document patient care and promote a respectful, inclusive environment
  • Uphold organizational standards, safety policies, and the highest ethical nursing practices
Qualifications:
  • Active Georgia RN license (single state or compact)
  • BLS certification (or equivalent)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • 2-3 years' experience in a multi-service operating room and as an OR circulator
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Ability to quickly respond under pressure and navigate emergencies with composure
