Superior Industrial Fire Services, Inc. is hiring Industrial Firefighters with a passion for firefighting and a demonstrated commitment to cultivating a positive, collaborative work environment. This opening is to work at the BMW Plant in Greer or Woodruff, South Carolina. We offer a base annual starting rate of $47,989 with additional overtime available.
Our Mission Statement- Superior Industrial Fire at BMW Fire Department exists to provide a high level of safety to the associates and visitors within Plant 10 and Woodruff. We act as an effective team to protecting life, property, and supporting all BMW operations. Superior Industrial Fire delivers exceptional service through teamwork, innovation, and adaptability, empowering employees to achieve the highest standards in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
Under direct supervision, trains for and participates in duties and related responsibilities for controlling and extinguishing fires; rescuing persons endangered by structural fires; responding to and providing assistance for medical aid calls, vehicle accidents and HazMat incidents.
This is considered a safety sensitive position and is subject to our Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy.
Qualifications
Firefighter Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License (preferred with Class E endorsement) with acceptable driving record
  • Current NFPA 1001 Firefighter II with Hazardous Materials-Operations (State, IFSAC, or Pro-Board issued)
  • Current CPR/AED
  • Completion of NIMS ICS-100, 200, 700, and 800 at time of hire.
  • Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
