About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Quality Inspector to join our fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing team. Aerospace industry experience is required, along with expert blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working under AS9100 and AS9102 quality standards and be committed to maintaining rigorous aerospace compliance and quality control.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products for aerospace quality compliance.
  • Expertly read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications (required).
  • Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
  • Complete Router documentation and AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) reports accurately.
  • Ensure full compliance with AS9100 and AS9102 aerospace standards.
  • Maintain organized and thorough inspection records.
  • Verify all aerospace requirements are met before product release.
  • Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.
  • Work efficiently in a high-speed job shop environment.
  • Collaborate with the QA Manager and other leadership personnel.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable aerospace industry experience (required).
  • Expert blueprint reading and strong GD&T knowledge (required).
  • Strong shop math and clear documentation skills.
  • CMM and CAD experience is a strong plus.
  • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
  • Proven ability to maintain exceptional quality standards in aerospace environments.
