We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our world-class aerospace manufacturing facility. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining the highest quality standards expected in the aerospace industry.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and various production machinery. This position requires a versatile technician who can work independently and as part of a collaborative team to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Systems Maintenance
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems including 480V three-phase power distribution, motor controls, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and variable frequency drives
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
  • Install, modify, and upgrade electrical components and control systems on manufacturing equipment
  • Perform electrical safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards
  • Test and calibrate electrical instruments, sensors, and control devices
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical repairs and modifications
Mechanical Systems Maintenance
  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems including bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and material handling equipment
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, and actuators
  • Conduct precision alignment of rotating equipment using laser alignment tools
  • Replace and adjust belts, chains, couplings, and other power transmission components
Experience & Education
• 5–10+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Associate degree or technical training preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience accepted
