Nursing South, a leading home healthcare agency serving Miami-Dade, is currently seeking dedicated LPNs to join our team of professionals. As a Licensed Professional Nurse, you play a crucial role as a valued member of our patient treatment team. Your responsibilities include providing care in accordance with established physician treatment plans, all while actively participating in the coordination of patient care under the direction of the DON.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervision, Regular visits

  • Insulin Patients

  • Wound Care, Wound Care High Tech Certified

  • IV/ High Tech Certified, HIV Tech Certified

  • Accurately and thoroughly document patient care observations, interpenetrations, and evaluations on the day services are rendered.

  • Provide skilled services within the scope of practice authorized by the license issued by the state for a Licensed Practical Nurse.

  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nurse diagnoses.

  • Recorded all clinical and progress notes and entered them into the patient's permanent record files.

  • Plan of care reevaluated needs and revised plan of care as necessary.

  • All LPN duties related to home health care.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid LPN license in the state of Florida

  • Level 2 Background Check with AHCA

  • Professional Liability Insurance

  • Valid Driver's License

  • CPR/BLS Certification

  • Car Registration and Car Insurance if the vehicle is owned.
