Conserva Irrigation Technician

As a Conserva Irrigation Technician you are a self-starter who has been in the industry and has already developed a professional approach to irrigation. You will be primarily be responsible for Level Two repairs such as troubleshooting, enhancing existing systems to make them more efficient, installing smart irrigation controllers and associated flow sensing equipment and will have tons of opportunity to learn from the Conserva corporate technical team and excel on the job.

Level Two Technician Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining residential and commercial irrigation systems
  • Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, installing and initializing clocks and timers, locating existing zones and valves and performing pump repairs
  • Adhering to Company's safety policy and ensuring that the public will be safe while in contact with crews
  • Installing high-tech smart irrigation controllers
  • Adding on to existing systems
  • Install Micro and drip irrigation installation and enhancements
  • Install High-tech sensor and flow sensing installation

Learning on the Job

  • Work independently, yet be part of a team working directly with your Operations team
  • Assess the efficiency of residential irrigation systems through our proven SES process
  • Assess the efficiency of commercial irrigation systems through our proven CSA process
  • Find your own path for career growth by either driving productivity or managing operations

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of documented irrigation industry experience and proficiency required
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to make and keep promises to be punctual and consistent
  • Results-oriented; ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivation to earn production bonuses
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Great attitude with a desire for growth
  • Ability to work regular physical labor outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
