Beretta USA Corp. is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to work weekend shift in our state of the art facility in Gallatin, TN.  Weekend Shift is worked Friday through Sunday afternoons


JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:


The CNC Electro-Mechanical Technician will provide electrical and mechanical repairs to all CNC manufacturing equipment, heat treatment and surface finishing equipment, assembly and packaging equipment, and perform facility maintenance as required.  The technician will complete assigned preventive maintenance and routine work order requests on a daily bases.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


Electrical:  

Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills, lathes and grinders to include repairing and/or replacing CNC controls and interfacing, display monitors, drives, motors, power supplies, electronic circuit boards, PLC’s, limit switches, proximity switches, photo electric switches, relays, and other various electrical and electronic components.

Installation or relocation of electrical conduit, wiring, outlets, breakers, transformers, lighting, and disconnect switches in accordance with the National Electrical Code requirements.

Mechanical: 

Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills, lathes and grinders to include repairing and/or replacing mechanical components such as: ballscrews, thrust bearings, waycovers, spindles, gearboxes, and hydraulic and pneumatic system components. 

Move and relocate CNC equipment as needed. 

Welding and fabrication: MIG, TIG, Stick, and Plasma Cutter.

Plumbing skills: Installation of piping, fittings, valves, pumps and related items.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

 

Exposure to all hazards within manufacturing facility including chemical, noise, high/low voltage, etc.

General manufacturing environment.

Personal safety protective equipment as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:

 

Must have 3-5 years’ experience repairing CNC horizontal mills, vertical mills, lathes, and grinders in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment with minimum supervision.

Read and understand electrical, electronic, and mechanical schematics and drawings.

Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Distinguish colors.

Lift 40 pounds.

 

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Must have 3-5 years’ experience repairing CNC horizontal mills, vertical mills, lathes, and grinders in an industrial manufacturing environment. 

Prefer candidates with vocational training in CNC Equipment Repair or an Associate in Electronics.
