These internships allow students to explore potential career paths, develop workplace skills, and build their resumes. Internships can be paid or unpaid and may take place during the school year or over the summer. They often include mentorship, hands-on tasks, and opportunities to learn more about a specific industry or field.

What types of projects or tasks can I expect to work on during a high school internship?

During a high school internship, you'll typically be assigned a variety of tasks that help you gain exposure to the professional environment. These may include assisting with administrative duties, supporting ongoing projects, participating in team meetings, and sometimes working on small, supervised projects relevant to the organization's field. The goal is to help you develop soft skills like communication and teamwork, as well as introduce you to industry-specific tools or processes. Interns often collaborate with mentors or supervisors who provide guidance and feedback throughout the experience.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a high school intern, and why are they important?
