They identify at-risk students, provide academic and personal support, and connect students with resources such as tutoring or counseling. Their goal is to improve graduation rates by addressing barriers to success and encouraging students to complete their high school education. Graduation coaches often collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create individualized plans for students in need.

How does a high school graduation coach typically collaborate with teachers and counselors to support at-risk students?

They often participate in regular meetings with faculty to discuss academic or behavioral concerns, share insights on student progress, and coordinate intervention plans. Collaboration may include developing individualized support strategies, facilitating communication between students, families, and staff, and monitoring student attendance and performance. This team-based approach helps ensure that students receive comprehensive support tailored to their unique needs.
