Job Title: High Risk OB Sonographer / Perinatal Sonographer
Location: Clovis, CA - 93611
Duration: 13-Week Contract (Extension Possible)
Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | 32 hr/Week
Pay: Competitive Weekly Pay
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced High Risk OB Sonographer to join a leading Perinatology practice in Clovis, California. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations, including Level II anatomy scans, nuchal translucency (NT) studies, and high-risk pregnancy imaging. Experience with fetal echocardiography is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-risk obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations in a Perinatology/Maternal-Fetal Medicine setting.
  • Conduct detailed Level II fetal anatomy scans and evaluate fetal growth and development.
  • Perform Nuchal Translucency (NT) examinations according to established protocols.
  • Assist physicians with advanced fetal imaging and diagnostic procedures.
  • Obtain accurate measurements, images, and documentation for physician interpretation.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while ensuring image quality standards.
  • Educate and support patients throughout the examination process.
  • Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Adhere to all departmental, regulatory, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
  • ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
  • Registered in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN).
  • Minimum 2 years of Perinatology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, or High-Risk OB ultrasound experience.
  • Strong experience performing Level II ultrasound examinations.
  • Experience with Nuchal Translucency (NT) studies.
  • Proficiency with advanced ultrasound equipment and imaging protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fetal Echocardiography experience or certification.
  • Additional ARDMS registry in Abdomen (AB) and/or Vascular Technology (RVT).
  • Previous experience in a Level II or Level III Perinatal Center.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
