Location: Denver, CO (In-Office)
Job Type: Full-Time Exempt

You're an experienced physical security professional who understands how to protect people, assets, and facilities across a distributed organization. You combine strong technical expertise in physical security systems with a practical, risk-based approach to program management. You are comfortable taking ownership, coordinating across teams, and ensuring compliance in a regulated environment. About the Role
The Physical Security Manager is responsible for First Western's physical security program, including access control, surveillance systems, and alarm monitoring. This role protects the bank's people, assets, and facilities through the implementation of effective security controls and timely response to physical security incidents. The position ensures proper operation and maintenance of security systems, oversight of high-risk assets such as ATMs and cash, and coordination with internal teams and external security vendors. It also supports compliance with applicable regulatory and internal physical security requirements.
What You'll Do
  • Lead administration of physical access controls, including keycard provisioning, deactivation, alarm code management, and coordination of physical lock systems.
  • Oversee surveillance, alarm, and related security systems to ensure proper operation, maintenance, monitoring, and timely escalation of physical security events.
  • Manage physical security systems and infrastructure across bank locations, including cameras, alarms, ATMs, and drive-through security equipment.
  • Coordinate response to physical security incidents, including robbery, burglary, larceny, unauthorized access, and other physical security events.
  • Oversee protection and control of physical assets, including safekeeping of currency and negotiable instruments within applicable areas of responsibility.
  • Conduct physical security risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements through documentation, control monitoring, and audit support.
  • Coordinate and manage third-party security vendors and support physical security policies, procedures, and employee awareness training.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field (required).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a physical security role; financial services, public company/multi-industry operations.
  • Strong expertise in access control, surveillance, alarm, and ATM security technologies.
  • Experience managing incidents, vendors, and operational security programs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and audit processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
