Position Summary

The Leasing Professional serves as a brand ambassador for The Travis, delivering an exceptional prospect and resident experience while supporting the community's occupancy, revenue, and retention goals. This role is responsible for generating leases through relationship-based sales, conducting tours, managing prospect follow-up, coordinating move-ins, and providing elevated customer service consistent with a luxury high-rise environment.
The ideal candidate is energetic, sales-driven, hospitality-minded, and passionate about creating meaningful experiences for prospects and residents. As part of a lease-up team, this position plays a critical role in establishing The Travis as Austin's premier residential destination.
Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Sales

  • Deliver exceptional prospect experiences through phone, email, text, virtual, and in-person interactions.
  • Conduct personalized community tours that highlight apartment homes, amenities, services, and the lifestyle offered at The Travis.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to maximize conversions and achieve leasing goals.
  • Assist prospects through the application, screening, lease execution, and move-in process.
  • Accurately maintain prospect, traffic, and leasing activity records within the property management platform.
  • Stay informed on pricing, availability, concessions, and inventory to effectively position the community in the marketplace.
Marketing & Business Development

  • Support execution of marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, resident referral programs, and local partnerships.
  • Assist with social media content creation and community engagement efforts.
  • Monitor competitor activity and complete market surveys to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Represent the community at networking events, resident functions, and promotional activities as needed.
Resident Experience

  • Provide prompt, professional, and solution-oriented service to current and prospective residents.
  • Support resident retention initiatives and lease renewal efforts.
  • Coordinate seamless move-in experiences and ensure residents receive a thorough community orientation.
  • Address resident concerns and collaborate with onsite teams to ensure timely resolution.
Community Presentation

  • Maintain leasing offices, model homes, amenity spaces, and tour paths to company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of show units and common areas to ensure presentation excellence.
  • Partner with the maintenance team to communicate and follow up on any conditions impacting the resident or prospect experience.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous multifamily leasing, hospitality, luxury retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to meet sales goals and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software platforms.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and special events as business needs require.
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk multiple floors and tour prospects throughout a high-rise community.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and climb stairs for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to operate computers, mobile devices, and other office equipment.
