Job description

About the Role:

We’re seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our operations team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment used in our production facility. You’ll work closely with operations and engineering to ensure everything runs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other automated systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues
  • Diagnose and repair problems with motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulic presses, pumps and valves
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and update logs/work orders in the CMMS system
  • Assist in equipment installations and plant upgrades as needed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Support production teams by minimizing downtime and responding quickly to maintenance needs
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to solve complex technical problems

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment including electrical controls, drive systems, electric motors, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial equipment
  • Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automation systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Experience with welding, CNC operation, mills and lathes is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred
  • Able to work on your feet, lift 50+ lbs, and handle tools and equipment safely
