This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to create a comfortable and productive workspace. Our team operates within a structured schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a healthy work-life balance. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at California Neurobehavioral Associates, you will:

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to recognize signs and symptoms of mental health disorders, utilizing suitable treatment interventions to support therapeutic outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring consistent tracking of progress and necessary adjustments to address evolving needs.
• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, respecting the privacy and dignity of each client in accordance with ethical practices and state regulations.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that addresses both psychological and physical health.
• Act as an advocate during critical moments, taking decisive actions in crisis situations to help resolve immediate challenges faced by clients.
• Prioritize ongoing professional development, participating in supervision and educational opportunities to enhance your expertise and therapeutic skills.

Your work will directly impact a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. You will have the opportunity to work with couples facing communication challenges and families seeking support in managing relational dynamics. With your empathetic approach, you will help facilitate healthier relationships and improved mental health outcomes for those you serve.

To thrive in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• An active LMFT license issued by the state of California with a clean disciplinary record.
• A solid understanding of various therapeutic models and techniques appropriate for treating diverse mental health conditions and relational issues.
• A commitment to ethical standards, client confidentiality, and professional integrity in all interactions.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience providing therapy in a clinical setting, with a focus on family and couples therapy. Experience in community health clinics or similar environments is advantageous, as it fosters an understanding of the complexities often faced by clients in such settings.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
