Job Description
Our Regional Sales Manager plays a key role in driving strategic growth initiatives and leading execution efforts throughout the Great Lakes market. This individual will represent the Ceco Building Systems, Star Building Systems, and Metallic Building Systems brands while providing leadership and support to a team of District Sales Managers.
The region includes Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia, along with portions of Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead Regional Strategy: Execute strategic initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and market share across the Great Lakes region
  • Develop & Coach Sales Teams: Mentor and support District Sales Managers through regular coaching, customer engagement, pricing support, and market development
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Support key opportunities, pricing strategy, and project management initiatives to maximize regional performance
  • Build Executive-Level Relationships: Strengthen relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and key customers while supporting teams through complex customer situations
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with estimating, engineering, operations, and sales excellence teams to support successful project execution
  • Support Field Execution: Spend time in-market alongside District Sales Managers helping drive strategy, customer engagement, and sales execution
  • Develop Future Leaders: Build a strong regional culture while coaching and developing high-performing talent
  • Lead Through Influence: Operate as a collaborative, hands-on leader willing to roll up your sleeves and support the business where needed

Qualifications
  • 8-10+ years of sales experience within pre-engineered metal building (PEMB)
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and develop sales teams across large territories
  • Strong business acumen with experience supporting pricing strategy and complex project opportunities
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate customer escalations and support key strategic accounts
  • Collaborative leadership style with a strong culture fit and long-term mindset
  • Approximately 40-50% travel, including periodic overnight stays throughout the territory

Additional Information
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 - $155,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
