Job Overview:

Bingham Mechanical, Inc. is looking for a skilled and certified Pipe Welder to join our team in Idaho Falls, ID. This role involves performing precise welding on high-pressure piping systems according to industry codes and company standards. If you have a keen eye for detail and at least two years of certified pipe welding experience, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

  • Perform high-quality pipe welding using various techniques (TIG, MIG, Stick) on carbon and stainless steel.
  • Interpret blueprints and welding procedures with precision.
  • Conduct visual inspections and adhere to all relevant codes and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with plumbers, foremen, and project managers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain welding certifications and participate in ongoing safety and training programs.
  • Ensure all welds meet quality standards with minimal need for rework.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified pipe welder.
  • Proficient in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on various pipe materials.
  • Current welding certifications (ASME, AWS preferred).
  • Strong understanding of pipe fitting, layout, and fabrication.
  • Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
