Job description

Diehl Hyundai of Massillon is seeking a skilled and dedicated Engine Replacement Service Technician to join our team in Massillon, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and replacing engines to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality automotive repair services.

In addition, Diehl Hyundai of Massillon will soon be opening a brand new service garage with state of the art equipment! 

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engine problems to identify necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Perform complete engine replacements in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Inspect and test engines and related components to ensure proper functioning after installation.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with other service team members and communicate effectively with customers about repairs and maintenance.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized following company and industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with engine replacement expertise.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of engine systems and automotive repair practices.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
