Job Description/ Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software applications using the Appian low-code platform. Translate business requirements into functional Appian solutions, building process models, user interfaces, and integrations. Key responsibilities include understanding database concepts, participating in Agile development, and ensuring application performance and scalability.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Designing, developing, and deploying Appian applications, including process models, interfaces, record types, and integrations.
    Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
    Integrating Appian applications with other systems and third-party platforms using APIs and web services.
    Understanding database concepts and designing data models for applications.
    Following Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, and collaborating with project teams.
    Performing unit and system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting application issues.
    Ensuring optimal system performance and scalability of Appian applications.
    Keeping abreast of new features, enhancements, and best practices within the Appian platform
    Appian SAIL, SQL, Java
    Required Skills:
    Proficiency in Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, and Appian Sites.
    Strong understanding of Appian architecture and best practices.
    Knowledge of CDT/XSD creation in Appian
    Experience with REST APIs, web services, and other integration methods.
    Understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
    Experience with Agile development practices.
    Experience in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
    Experience in Java for plugins development.
    Strong experience in agent based intelligent control systems and reinforcement learning.
    Strong understanding of how Message Oriented Middleware works and any work performed in relevance of it.
    Preferred knowledge about Hibernate/Spring concepts
    Basic knowledge of MVC Framework (Model, View, Controller) in the context of Appian.
    Good troubleshooting skills and be able to work in a team environment.
    Experience with implementing numerical methods and data visualization.
    Hands-on in symbolic programming, event-based system design.
    Experience in software development of multi-threaded, scalable and highly-available distributed systems.
    Strong computer science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, high-performance computing, algorithm design and problem solving.
    Knowledge of software engineering practices and best practices for software development.
    Experience with OCR AI capabilities is must.
