Job description

Description:

The Shift Manager (Line Coach) is responsible for coaching and leading the day-to-day operational and financial excellence of Zalat by being a coach and a leader to their peers and demonstrating decision-making that supports operational excellence and the embodiment of Customer 4 Life Service.


A great line coach will:

  • Manage the cook line to drive the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed
  • Learn and complete operational support functions (i.e. purchasing, receiving, accounting processes, inventory) to ensure operational excellence and high financial performance
  • Coach and lead shift opening and closing procedures to maintain our facilities and equipment to the highest standards
  • Responsible for doing daily tasks like Jolt list, PECs, and any other daily tasks assigned to management


Requirements:
  • Supervising a team with at least 1 year of experience
  • Hold a valid Food Manager Safety Certification, or willing to obtain upon hire
  • Exhibiting strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Managing and adhering to schedules
  • Successful completion of a mandatory background check
