Hours:

Part-time, 2-4 days/week, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

  • This role helps cover days when the full-time associate is out, so flexibility across weekdays is important
  • Additional shifts may come up for vacation or call-out coverage, so flexibility in short notice is needed

Pay: $20-$25/hour base + commission

Location: Coverage at 9462 W Broad St, Henrico, VA 23294


Position Overview

This is a unique part-time opportunity to work in a high-end retail showroom focused on fitness equipment & premium massage chairs. Unlike traditional retail, this is a quieter, more relaxed environment where the focus is on providing a great customer experience and learning the product inside and out. You'll play a key role in keeping the store running day-to-day, supporting customers both in person and over the phone, and becoming a trusted resource for the product.


Responsibilities

  • Be the face of the store during your shift, welcoming and assisting customers as they come in
  • Answer inbound service calls and help with basic troubleshooting or direct customers to the right support
  • Support occasional product pickups, including moving inventory (equipment provided)
  • Learn the product via studying manuals, literature, videos, etc. and confidently guide customers through features and benefits of the product
  • Take initiative during slower periods to stay productive and continue learning
  • Keep the showroom organized and running smoothly
  • You'll get to use and become familiar with the massage chairs yourself


Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field is preferred; however, extensive experience in retail or business to business/business to consumer sales industry may substitute.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience:

  • Customer service or retail experience is helpful, but not required
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required
  • Fitness sales experience desirable but not required

Other Requirements:

  • Strong customer service background
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
  • Self-motivated and able to stay engaged in a lower-traffic environment
  • High energy, passion for business, sales, wellness, and a great work ethic
