Job description

What You'll Do

NetDocuments is seeking an execution-focused Lead Product Manager to lead the product function for our newly formed AI Growth team, owning how we monetize, scale, and prove the value of AI across the platform for legal professionals. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this leader will own end-to-end product execution - spanning AI credits and packaging, usage-based billing, adoption and retention, and the usage-to-ROI story - while collaborating with other product teams to implement scalable strategies and workflows that can be deployed org-wide. The ideal candidate will excel at translating vision into measurable outcomes, leading by example with empowered team principles, and operating with the freedom and responsibility that defines how we work. If you thrive in an empowered environment where context trumps control and outcomes matter more than outputs, we'd love to talk to you.

You will:

  • Own the full product delivery lifecycle for AI monetization - from AI credit packaging to the admin experience for managing AI spend to the systems that translate usage into billing, ensuring reliable releases that drive measurable adoption and revenue.
  • Lead continuous discovery through regular customer interviews and rapid experimentation, maintaining deep connection with legal professionals' evolving needs.
  • Mentor other AI product managers to implement product strategies and workflows with potential for org-wide deployment, leading by example with empowered team principles that drive consistent business outcomes.
  • Navigate complex technical dependencies across metering, billing, admin consoles, and the AI surfaces owned by other R&D teams, while maintaining velocity and product excellence.
  • Champion modern product practices including outcome-focused metrics, assumption testing, and customer-centric decision making throughout the organization.
  • Practice radical candor in all interactions, providing direct feedback that accelerates team performance while building trust through transparency.
  • Drive product strategy for AI monetization and adoption based on quantitative funnel analysis across AI SKUs, market data, and the internal systems that balance adoption, availability, system resilience, and margin.
  • Influence without authority across cross-functional teams, aligning diverse stakeholders around shared goals and priorities.
  • Deliver admin-facing experiences that makes AI usage, adoption, and ROI legible to customers.
  • Design & execute rapid iterative experiments to grow adoption and retention, potentially including trials, POCs, and freemium motions.

What You'll Need to be Successful

  • 7+ years of product management experience with a proven track record executing complex, multi-quarter initiatives - ideally spanning monetization, pricing/packaging, or product-led growth.
  • Strong technical fluency and experience with consumption-based pricing models and driving usage revenue through compelling ROI journeys.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based product development and related technologies such as semantic indexing, RAG systems, and AI-powered document intelligence applications.
  • Comfort operating in high-autonomy environments where you receive context and strategic direction but determine execution approach independently.
  • Experience with modern product development and experimentation practices: agile methodologies, feature flags, A/B testing, and funnel instrumentation..
  • Legal technology, regulatory compliance, or highly regulated industry experience strongly preferred but not required.
