Pioneer Truss, located in Owensville, MO, is looking to grow our Sales team. Our Sales Reps are expected to provide high level of service for our customers with a strong working knowledge of the truss design and manufacturing process. This position's focus is selling truss systems to various clients, including residential, commercial, and agricultural sectors.

Primary Role Expectations:
  • Promote and sell truss systems to new and existing customers.
  • Conduct pricing and estimating for truss projects.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Understand building code requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Travel to customer locations and construction sites.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to read architectural plans and blueprints

  • Frequent travel to customer locations and construction sites, which may involve walking, standing, and moving around uneven terrain.
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying materials or samples, typically up to 60lbs.
  • Ability to handle and manipulate small tools and materials.
  • Good vision for reading blueprints, technical drawings, and computer screens.
  • Work is split between office settings, home offices, and outdoor construction sites.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions when visiting construction sites.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots when on-site.
