Professionals such as contractors or designers may also receive fees for their services showcased during filming.

What are HGTV shows?

HGTV shows are television programs produced or broadcast by the Home & Garden Television (HGTV) network, which focus primarily on home improvement, real estate, interior design, gardening, and related lifestyle topics. Job description

If you're looking for a job that involves mowing lawns and picking weedsโ€ฆ keep scrolling. But if you want to help build epic backyard escapesโ€”with fire pits, waterfalls, stone patios, and brag-worthy outdoor living spaces that make neighbors weep with envy, you just found your crew.
At Alderwood Landscaping, we don't do maintenance. We create Backyard Resort Livingโ„ข for high-end clients across the Pacific Northwest. Think less "suburban lawn care" and more "HGTV meets Home Depot meets your childhood sandbox dreams."
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Moving stuff, building stuff, making dreams come true (yours and the homeowners').
  • Use tools, muscles, and maybe some heavy equipment (we'll teach you which end is business).
  • Work outdoors in God's office (yes, even when God is crying... aka PNW "liquid sunshine").
  • Get trained up and promoted if you're crushing it.
  • Getting paid to work outside instead of slowly dying under fluorescent lights.

What You Bring:
  • You're strong-ish, dependable, and can lift more than your ego (and possibly a 50lb bag of gravel).
  • You show up on time because early birds get the best assignments.
  • You're okay with getting dirty, soap is free, and bragging rights are earned.
  • You don't melt when it rains (we're not hiring sugar cubes).
  • You are 18+ and have reliable transportation (skateboards don't count).
  • Experience in landscape construction is preferred! We love people who know their way around tools and materials.

What We Offer:
  • Experienced Landscape Construction Laborer wages start at $25.00-$28.00+ an hour.
  • Minimal or no landscape construction experience, wages start at $23.00-$25.00 an hour.
  • Bonuses & incentives because your hustle = our mutual success = extra pocket money.
  • Health / Dental / Vision Insurance (because splinters happen).
  • 401k + Free Life Insurance (we're planning for your golden years AND zombie apocalypse).
  • Paid Time Off โ€“ use it for rest, golf, or binge-watching home improvement shows for "research".
  • A no-drama, no-mowing, no-weeding, all-building kind of company.

If you're tired of boring jobs where your biggest accomplishment is not falling asleep, and you want to build something that'll make people say "Holy cow, who did this?!" โ€“ hit us up. Send a quick email with your info and any experience you've got, or apply on our website: alderwoodlandscaping.com

We're drug-free, background checks required, and sarcasm-friendly (obviously).

Let's build something awesome (and maybe your reputation as the friend who "knows a guy" who can build anything).
