Job description

Enrollment Services Assistant

To participate in a remote work arrangement, employees must reside in the United States. No remote work arrangement will be considered for working from outside the United States.

Current staff, faculty/adjunct at Herzing University, log into UKG and navigate to Menu > Myself > My Company > View Opportunities to apply using the internal application process.

This is a temporary position that will provide support during the fall 2026 and early spring 2027 semesters. The duration of this role is expected to be 6 to 8 months.

The Enrollment Services Assistant is responsible for managing and approving incoming high school and college transcripts that are required for enrollment into the university or for awarding transfer credit. Additionally, the Enrollment Services Assistant will manage the delivery of Herzing University official transcripts through digital and mail systems.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • One year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine, verify, review, and approve incoming official college transcripts and high school proof-of-graduation.
  • Input proof-of-graduation approvals into the Herzing student information system to ensure new student matriculation. Ensure transfer credit evaluations are requested for all received transcripts.
  • Manage required admissions documents and provide reminders of upcoming deadlines.
  • Manage delivery of all digital and printed Herzing official transcripts; issue official transcripts for student certification and licensure applications.
  • Respond to student inquiries for information on ordering official transcripts, replacement diplomas, or award certificates. Provide customer service to address withheld transcripts.
  • Prepare and print mailings for academic award certificates and graduation materials.
  • Manage incoming faxes and Herzing ticketing system for the receipt of incoming official transcripts.
  • Assist the Registration Department with entering approved transfer credit within the Herzing student information system.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Compensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The hourly pay range for this position is $17.07 to $23.95.

Anticipated schedule includes a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday with flexible start and end times. It is preferred that the final candidate will be near one of our current locations allowing for a potential hybrid schedule.
