Job description

General Dentist

Adventure Dental in Landover Hills, MD, is currently seeking a General Dentist to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, instructing staff on how to assist in patient treatment and educating caregivers and patients regarding preventive practices.

This is a part-time position for Mondays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays only.

Pay range: $700-$1000/day

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and service for our patients by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs
  • Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures
  • Educate caregivers and patients regarding all aspects of treatment and stay informed on latest dental treatment techniques
  • Partner with neighboring practices to inform and educate referring providers of the services provided
  • Help kids and their caregivers to develop excellent habits in oral health
  • Support efforts to promote the company and attract new patients within the community
  • Participate in team activities and communication such as morning huddle, provider meetings, company events and email communications
  • Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
Job Qualifications
  • State dental license in good standing
  • Strong interest in working with children
  • Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload
  • Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time
