This role primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. However, as our services include outpatient care, there may be occasional requirements to engage in community outreach initiatives or in-person meetings when necessary. • Serve as a clinical mental health professional, providing therapy to clients experiencing severe emotional disorders or major mental illnesses.

• Participate in crisis intervention efforts, employing de-escalation techniques and supportive strategies during critical situations.
• Manage a caseload that involves individual, group, and family therapy, ensuring effective treatment plans focused on clients’ expressing needs.
• Monitor clients throughout their treatment phase, including assessments for admissions, continuity of care, and discharge readiness.
• Ensure timely reporting and data management to uphold program standards and fulfill state and federal requirements.
• Provide on-call coverage as assigned to ensure comprehensive support beyond standard hours.
• Engage in agency committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and quality improvement efforts.

The focus of this role will primarily be on clients experiencing mental health challenges in underserved communities. You will work with individuals from various demographics, requiring sensitivity and adaptability to different cultural contexts, beliefs, and individual life experiences that shape their mental health needs.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• Current Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention strategies.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with colleagues.
• Demonstrated organizational abilities to manage a varied caseload efficiently.
• Competency in addressing age-specific issues and developmental needs for all populations served.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Bilingual capabilities, especially in English and Spanish, are preferred and will be beneficial in serving our client population.
• Experience with integrated care approaches and familiarity with local community resources is a plus.

Coastline Health System offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience.
