Coastline Health System is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a full-time mental health counselor. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to provide critical mental health services remotely while also being actively involved in the outpatient office to meet the diverse needs of our clients in Salinas, California. This role is primarily remote, providing the flexibility to work from home while maintaining required engagement with our outpatient office in Salinas. • Provide clinical services directly to clients with severe emotional and mental health conditions, both virtually and in office settings.

• Deliver a spectrum of prevention, treatment, and recovery services tailored to client needs.
• Assist in crisis intervention, providing support as necessary.
• Maintain an active caseload, providing assessment, therapy, and monitoring regarding admissions, ongoing care, and discharge processes.
• Complete necessary documentation and reports promptly, ensuring all data submissions are accurate and timely.
• Participate in on-call duties as assigned, contributing to overall client support.
• Engage actively in internal committees focused on enhancing service quality and outcomes.

In this role, you will serve a diverse range of clients who are often navigating complex mental health challenges. This includes individuals experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses, as well as those facing severe emotional disorders. Your ability to listen empathetically and apply clinical expertise will be vital in fostering trust and facilitating effective interventions to improve client outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-master’s experience as a clinician, particularly in mental health settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis management for various populations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
• Competence in addressing age-related or specialty issues and understanding developmental needs pertinent to the populations served.

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred, enhancing our capacity to serve a broader client base.
• Experience in a community health setting or with culturally diverse populations will be advantageous.
