What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an essential role in providing compassionate patient care and creating an exceptional client experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with patient assessments and physical examinations
  • Performing phlebotomy and catheter placement
  • Supporting radiology procedures using proper safety protocols
  • Monitoring anesthesia during surgical procedures
  • Assisting with perioperative nursing care
  • Performing routine dental prophylaxis
  • Running and assisting with basic laboratory procedures
  • Educating clients and supporting them throughout their pets' care
  • Collaborating with doctors and teammates to ensure smooth daily hospital operations

Schedule

Full-Time

  • 32-38 hours per week
  • Four shifts per week
  • Rotating Saturdays

Part-Time

  • Opportunities may also be available

Hospital Hours

  • Tuesday-Friday: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
Compensation

$20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
