JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN INTAKE ASSESSMENT CLINICIAN / RN!
(Wednesday-Friday 7pm-7:30am)
Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Assessment Clinician to join our team at Hendricks Behavioral Hospital!
As an Intake Assessment Clinician, you will play a crucial role in the process of responding to referrals and other requests for services and information. You will provide technical assistance to the discharge planning process under the direction of the Director of A&R and offer general support to the case management program.
  • Document and process inquiry calls according to Intake policies.
  • Assess and stabilize patients before discharge or arrange hospital admission.
  • Notify and assist the on-call doctor with patient interviews.
  • Obtain administrative approval for all admissions.
  • Complete admission paperwork following hospital policy.
  • Maintain an intake log with all necessary information documented.
  • Make follow-up calls to patients who fail to show up for appointments.
  • Demonstrate guest relations by example and provide counseling to employees in need of training.

Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
  • Education & Licensure: Anursing degree from an accredited university is required. Licensed to practice in the State of Indiana as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Experience: Experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting, preferred.
  • Additional Skill Requirements: A working knowledge of the latest DSM and Mental Status Exam and working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range is $36.00- 48.00 hourly. We are eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and we will consider their experience and skill level during the selection process.
