HEMATOPATHOLOGIST
Partnership Track – Private Group Practice

Job Title: Hematopathologist

Setting: Private Pathology Group (Partnership Track)

Location: Upper Midwest

Overview:

Sante Consulting has recently been engaged to conduct a nation-wide search with a large, private Pathology group offering partnership track located in the upper Midwest. We are recruiting for a full-time Hematopathologist to join our team of 16 Pathologists with a spectrum of subspecialties and expertise and 8 PAs. We serve a large non-profit faith based health system that includes ten (10) hospitals and many outreach facilities throughout Wisconsin. This position is available immediately and on a partnership track. Compensation is competitive in addition to a generous package of benefits.

Details / Work Schedule and Environment:

-Standard five-day workweek.

-Work/Life Balance: 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional extension to 6 PM.

-No weekends

-Strong work/life balance

-Very strong compensation (including yearly bonus).

-Partnership track

-Extensive lab and support staff including 8 Pathology PA’s.

-No grossings and no autopsies

-16 Pathologists currently

-26 years as a private group

-Open to junior Pathologists

-Strong communication skills are critical – team works closely with Oncologists and complex medical teams.

-This group is an extremely close team that emphasizes a strong work/life balance.

Responsibilities, duties and location of the Hematopathologist position:

-The successful candidate will share the full scope of hematopathology responsibilities with the other experienced hematopathologists. Flow cytometric data analysis experience is essential, as well as, effectively communicating with clinicians and staff.

-The selected candidate's main responsibility is signing out Hematopathology cases with a minor component of general surgical pathology sign out and participating in intraoperative frozen sections rotation.

-Presenting at tumor boards and occasionally teaching staff or residents.

-Serving as CLIA director for clinical laboratories.

-Participating in on-call rotation shared among surgical pathologists.
