Job description

Sovah Health in Martinsville, VA, is seeking a dedicated and collaborative BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to join their established team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a positive work environment within a nationally recognized healthcare organization, Lifepoint Health. The successful candidate will have access to essential resources and technologies to deliver impactful patient care, fostering both professional growth and personal well-being.

Practice Info

  • Join an employed group composed of Hem/Oncs, APP, and Rad/Onc on-site.
  • Bi-weekly tumor board and clinical trial programs are available.
  • Utilizes Aria Oncology information system.
  • Outpatient clinic averages 15-20 patients per day.
  • The clinic has 10 infusion chairs and 2 quick chairs.
  • Inpatient treatment is referred to large academic centers in the area.
  • Staffed with navigators, pharmacist, pharm tech, lab tech with lab draws in office, phlebotomist, office manager, and clinical director (shared with radiation oncology).
  • 24/7 Hospitalist coverage is provided.
