About the Role:
Helping Hands Home Healthcare Agency in Bellefontaine, OH is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our caring team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients by providing essential support right in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Monitor and record patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises or therapy routines
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean home environment
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
  • Transport or accompany clients to medical appointments and errands
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related healthcare setting preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
