Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the driver with loading and unloading the delivery vehicle
  • Sort and organize packages according to their delivery route
  • Ensure that all packages are properly labeled and accounted for
  • Communicate effectively with the driver to ensure timely and safe delivery
  • Help to navigate the delivery route and provide assistance with directions
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Keep track of inventory and report any discrepancies to the driver
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the driver or supervisor
  • Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if required
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
