With a primary focus on serving the food industry, C-P specializes in roll stock, pouches, re-sealable packaging and shrink sleeves. Our headquarters and main manufacturing facility is located York, PA, With 10 current locations across North America and growing, C-P Flexible Packaging is one of the top 25 flexible packaging companies in the U.S.
We are looking for a Laminator Helper to join our Team in Aurora, Ontario.
The purpose of this role is to assist the Lamination operator in setting up and operating the laminator.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform set-ups and operation of machine
  • Mixing of adhesives
  • Perform quality checks and ensure correct specifications
  • Load and unload materials from the machine
  • Perform some parts replacements
Knowledge and Skills
  • Good math and measurement skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to read and understand docket instructions and take direction
Physical Effort Requirements
  • Lifting - occasional 50-60 lbs
  • Standing - continuous
  • Sitting - minimal
  • Bending forward - some of the time
  • Twisting - slightly
  • Back movement - constant continuous motion
  • Holding - occasional, not more than 10-15 lbs
  • Carrying - some, regular motion with pauses
  • Stair climbing - some, regular motion up to 10 steps
This is an 8 hour (midnight, afternoon, day) shift rotation  Candidates must be prepared to work a three shift rotation or continental shift.
