Vantor is seeking a Software Engineer to join our project team developing application software.

LOCATION: Colorado Springs - On Site

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the requirements analysis and design for software applications or sub-components.

  • Code or maintain software applications or sub-components from specifications.

  • Follow established software development process.

  • Create appropriate process artifacts including: requirements documentation, design documentation, and test plans.

  • Test applications as identified in the development methodology, and create necessary documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be U.S. Citizen and eligible for SECRET security clearance

  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline. 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • C++ programming experience.

  • Experience with Object Oriented software development theory and associated methodologies

  • Good understanding of coding methods and best practices

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience

  • Excellent Math and Physics skills

  • Ability to take direction from senior team members

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Effective oral and written communication skills to include active listening

Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $66,000.00 - $88,408.00 - $97,248.80 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
