Job description

Job Summary TITLE Grounds Maintenance - Trade Helper (Part-Time/Seasonal - April through September) QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent 2. Valid driver's license; must maintain current license throughout employment. REPORTS: Maintenance Coordinator JOB GOAL: To help maintain the physical school plant in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it may be made at all times PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Proficient and knowledgeable in understanding and completing various maintenance tasks. 2. Grounds Maintenance to include, but not limited to: mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, leaf removal, debris pickup, pressure washing, and basic landscaping duties as assigned by Maintenance Coordinator 3. Building Maintenance to include but not limited to those duties as a trade helper, in support of painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc... 4. Equipment maintenance basic preventative maintenance for equipment, to include but not limited to: Preshift/Postshift inspection, blade change, cleaning, lubrication, etc 5. Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs. 6. Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Coordinator or Assistant Superintendent of Operations TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board of Education. EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel
