Job Title

Machine Operator & Assembler

Location

Winston Salem

Starting Pay: $20.86/hour
Pay Increase: Raises to $21.55/hour after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period

Shift Differential: +$1.15/hr (2nd shift), +$1.50/hr (3rd shift)
Shifts:

  • 2nd: 3:00pm-11:30pm
  • 3rd: 11:00pm-7:30am
    Training: 1st shift

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate automated and semi-automated machines to manufacture automotive batteries
  • Perform minor assembly tasks as part of machine operation
  • Adjust machine settings, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic operator maintenance (cleaning, greasing, replacing small parts)
  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met; record approved and defective units
  • Follow all safety, PPE, and production guidelines

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a hot environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for long periods
  • Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
  • Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or extended shifts as needed
  • Commitment to safety and PPE compliance
