About La Cumbre Country Club
For over 110 years, La Cumbre Country Club has been a gathering place where members come to play, relax, and feel at home. Our team makes that experience possible-not by standing in the background, but by taking real pride in every detail of these historic spaces. We're looking for an honest, reliable, hands-on team member who takes pride in their work to help keep the club clean, safe, and running beautifully.
What You'll Do
  • This is a hands-on evening role that includes cleaning, event support, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and operation of specialized cleaning equipment. Responsibilities include:
  • End-of-day cleaning of restrooms, locker rooms, fitness areas, and common spaces-sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, surface cleaning, trash removal, and full restroom sanitation
  • Restocking locker room and restroom supplies: toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, sunscreen, and related amenities
  • Operating commercial cleaning equipment including floor polishers, carpet cleaning machines, floor washers, and pressure washers
  • Kitchen and industrial cleaning support: degreasing cooking areas, cleaning hoods and drains, pressure washing floors when needed
  • Event setup and teardown-moving tables, chairs, and equipment, and returning spaces to club standards after events
  • Minor repairs and preventive maintenance including basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and clearing drain clogs
  • Reporting larger maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor

What We're Looking For
  • The ideal candidate is dependable, practical, and service-minded. They understand that every detail matters in a private club setting and take ownership of keeping facilities clean, safe, and ready for members and guests.
  • Honest, reliable, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet-walking, bending, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working evening hours on a consistent schedule
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to follow privacy, safety, and professionalism standards in locker rooms and member areas
  • Prior janitorial, facilities, maintenance, hospitality, or club experience preferred
  • Experience with minor repairs and handyman skills preferred.

We offer competitive pay, a welcoming team environment, and the satisfaction of keeping a beloved institution running beautifully every day. If you're ready to bring your work ethic and eye for detail to a place that truly values it, apply today.
La Cumbre Country Club is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of every background.
