Job Summary

The GAF Baltimore Plant is seeking a Production Machine Operator to assist on the production line where needed. Duties include, but are not limited to, machine operation, quality verification, packaging, general housekeeping, and forklift operation.

Shift Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Rotation Pattern: 28-day rotating cycle

  • Work 4 nights --> 3 days off

  • Work 3 days --> 1 day off

  • Work 3 nights --> 3 days off

  • Work 4 days --> 7 consecutive days off!

Essential Duties

  • Safely operate processing machinery and equipment required to manufacture shingle products.

  • Perform equipment safety checks, shutdown, cleanup, and startup procedures.

  • Conduct regular quality verification, packaging tasks, and material handling.

  • Maintain workplace cleanliness and complete routine housekeeping.

  • Safely operate a forklift as required by production needs.

Qualifications Required

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

  • Demonstrated strong commitment to Safety and Quality.

  • Minimum of 1 year of machine operating experience in a high-speed process environment.

  • Willingness and availability to work 7 days a week on a rotating shift schedule.
