We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Recreation and Activities to join our team at Gurwin Jewish ~ Fay J. About the Role:

As our new Director of Recreation and Activities, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating recreational programs and activities that promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being among our residents. Your expertise will help create a vibrant community where residents can thrive and enjoy the benefits of assisted living.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement recreational programs and activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents

• Collaborate with internal departments, including Dining, Wellness, and Social Services, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care

• Manage and coordinate recreational staff and contractors to ensure seamless program delivery

• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and vendors to enhance programming and services

• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality services

• Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
