For an Insourcing Solution client based in Darmstadt, we're looking for an Animal Caretaker. You'll be integrated into our Insourcing Solution department and work directly with one of our clients.

  • Cage changes, feeding and watering
  • Cleaning of the cages and equipment
  • Supervision of the stock of bedding and food
  • Check of animal housing conditions in the holding rooms
  • Check/inspection of the individual animals (health checks) during weekdays
  • When necessary - Killing of non-experimental animals and disposal of the carcasses
  • When necessary - Breeding support, with mating of the breeding animals, weaning of the offspring and tissue sampling for genotyping and marking animals
  • Packing/unpacking animals for/from shipment
  • Work with our animal house software (Pyrat)

Available for relocation to Darmstadt or for daily commuting.

Good command of the German language.
