Job Description Summary
The Engineer 3 - Commercial Division provides advanced level electrical design and Building Information Modeling coordination on a wide variety of complex electrical design projects. The Engineer 3 will interact and collaborate within the Design-Engineering department, various departments within the company, and other partners outside of the company.
Job Description:
Role & Responsibilities
โ€ข Create complex electrical drawings for electrical construction within Revit on a variety of projects under the direction of project managers, general foremen and Engineering Division Manager.
โ€ข Create coordinated 3D/BIM models specifically for the electrical installation with the assistance of field management.
โ€ข Create installation drawings from the 3D/BIM models.
โ€ข Facilitate finished product with external customers and industry professionals.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
โ€ข Minimum two (2) year degree in electrical construction, electrical design for construction or similar.
โ€ข Advanced 3D/BIM modeling experience using Revit.
โ€ข Excellent planning and organizational skills.
โ€ข Ability to exercise independent judgment.
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
โ€ข Excellent time management skills.
โ€ข Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
โ€ข Willingness to learn new ideas and concepts.
โ€ข Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
โ€ข Minimum 5 years related electrical design/modeling experience.

Pay Range:
