Job description

Our organization is currently looking for a board-certified Family Medicine Physician to collaborate with Family Medicine residents in our thriving practice, located in Rhinebeck, New York. In this position, you will partner with the Program Director to create and execute ongoing medical education initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about supervising, mentoring, and assessing Family Medicine Residents.

Our outpatient practices leverage our hospitalist program for inpatient admissions, fostering a respectful and collegial atmosphere that promotes an excellent work-life balance. We provide a competitive base salary along with a comprehensive benefits package and relocation support.

Our newly established multispecialty center in Kingston integrates primary care, OB/GYN, imaging, Rheumatology, and Sports Medicine all in one location. Nestled in the picturesque Hudson Valley, Kingston is just a 1.5-hour drive from New York City and offers access to fantastic hiking, biking, dining, and a vibrant country lifestyle.

Become part of a well-established, high-performing team that offers collaborative specialty support and minimal on-call responsibilities. This position is designed to help you excel in your clinical practice while enjoying a balanced lifestyle.

As a member of our employed physician team, you will receive a highly competitive compensation package, which includes:

  • Base salary plus incentive compensation
  • Generous paid time off
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) time and funding
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life and disability coverage
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching
  • Potential hiring bonus and relocation assistance

We are in search of a compassionate, mission-driven physician committed to providing comprehensive, team-oriented care for a diverse adult patient population. You will collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team to manage both acute and chronic conditions while promoting overall wellness for your patient panel.

This position allows you to work in a fully outpatient environment equipped with a state-of-the-art, integrated electronic health record system, facilitating seamless communication and coordination across various hospitals and practice locations.

We prioritize clinician wellness and actively work to prevent burnout. Our organization has invested in innovative systems and support mechanisms designed to help you practice medicine joyfully and sustainably, including:

  • Daily Management Systems that empower frontline teams to address challenges at the practice level
  • A unified, network-wide EMR that enhances communication with hospitals and specialists
  • Secure EMR-integrated AI scribing tools that improve documentation accuracy and reduce time spent in the EHR
  • A light call schedule supported by nurse triage
  • Active inbox management to help clinicians unwind and maintain a healthy work-life balance

Job Requirements:

  • MD or DO with a valid New York State License and Federal DEA registration
  • Completion of Family Medicine residency and Board Certification
  • Off-hour coverage shared among multiple providers, limited to phone calls, with nurse triage support

We are a Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and eligible employees may qualify for forgiveness of certain federal student loans under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

Salary Range: $275,000 - $285,000, commensurate with experience.
