We are seeking experienced contract wellness veterinarians. We offer a fast-paced career providing basic essential services to pets in need. As a contract veterinarian at TCAP, you will be part of our mission to end pet overpopulation and improve community animal welfare throughout DFW. Some travel in the metroplex may be required.

General Responsibilities:
• Vaccinate pets in a high-volume setting; perfect your craft
• Provide oversight to veterinary assistants
• Prescribe flea/tick prevention
• Draw blood for heartworm testing and FIV/Felv testing
• Prescribe heartworm prevention (following negative test at our clinic)
• Draw up vaccines when needed
• Perform cursory exams to ensure pets are healthy enough for vaccines
Requirements:
• Must be a licensed veterinarian in the state of Texas.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and have reliable transportation.
• Must have Professional Liability Insurance.
Our Staff:
Our clinic team consists of a surgical veterinarian, a wellness veterinarian, two skilled and experienced spay/neuter veterinary technicians, a veterinary assistant, and a clinic manager. Veterinarians are contract employees. All other staff are overseen by TCAP's administrative team. TCAP has 8 locations in the DFW metroplex.
TCAP employs experienced and caring veterinary assistants and technicians who work alongside and support our veterinary team during our surgery clinics. Our compassionate employees and our amazing shelter and rescue partners throughout North Texas help us in the fight against euthanasia throughout DFW.
Our Organization:
TCAP was established in 2002 to provide an affordable way to spay and neuter pets. Since that time, TCAP has opened eight storefront clinics. We've also added a variety of services including low-cost vaccines, microchipping, heart worm testing and prevention, and dental cleanings. TCAP's standard prices are, on average, 87% less than what traditional veterinary clinics charge.
