Help Wanted Ads information

What is a help wanted ad?

Help Wanted Ads are job advertisements posted by employers seeking to hire workers for open positions. These ads can appear in newspapers, online job boards, company websites, or social media platforms. They typically include information about the job title, requirements, responsibilities, and how to apply. Help Wanted Ads are an essential tool for organizations to attract potential candidates and fill vacancies efficiently.

What are some common challenges faced when managing help wanted ads, and how can I address them effectively?

One common challenge when managing help wanted ads is ensuring that job postings reach the right audience and stand out among numerous listings. Crafting clear, engaging, and detailed ads is essential to attract qualified candidates. Additionally, keeping track of ad performance and promptly responding to applications can be demanding, especially in high-volume hiring environments. Attention to detail, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills help craft compelling ads and attract the right candidates. These abilities are crucial for reaching qualified talent efficiently and supporting organizational hiring goals.

Job description

With a culture of recognition and reputation for excellence, ELS is the ideal organization in which to develop a long and successful career!
ELS is hiring for the position of Customer Service Associate - DC in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Customer Service Experience Team Member
As a Customer Service Representative with more than a couple of years under your belt, you've probably seen plenty of help-wanted ads looking for a "rockstar Customer Service Rep" who can do the work of ten people and multitask in a fun, fast-paced environment. They promise opportunities that sound sketchy, businesses that like to "work hard, play hard," and have opportunities to "network in the industry," or offer "free" trips and salaries you know are based on impossible-to-meet commission sales. This is not one of those ads, or one of those companies for that matter.
We are looking for an experienced customer service representative who is passionate about helping people. We need someone who can listen to our customers and say, "I can help." We are a website that offers a variety of products that can sometimes seem confusing. If you are the type of person who friends and family go to for help because you are patient and can explain things in a clear, simple manner, you should keep reading. If you also enjoy checking things off of to-do lists, are comfortable with websites, writing emails, and answering phone calls, this may be the perfect job for you.
Who are we? Glad you asked. Our organization has multiple business units in a niche asset class of the overall real estate market: manufactured housing. It's not particularly well-known or glamorous. But our industry makes homeownership possible for over 20 million Americans, and we find that pretty satisfying. We're a stable and financially secure company based with the majority of our team members based in Michigan, however, our company offers services and products nationwide.
So what does our Customer Experience Team do? A lot. We have a website, mhvillage.com, that helps people buy and sell manufactured homes, learn about manufactured home communities, and manufactured home living in general. The people selling homes on our site range from individual homeowners to large corporations. Our CX team helps them over the phone, email, and a chat system, so excellent communication skills are essential. That means you need to write responses quickly, using complete sentences that are free from grammatical errors. You have to answer phone calls and call our customers to ask questions about their homes. You may need to take an hour and walk a senior citizen through how to list her home, then turn around and talk to the Vice President of a company that is selling hundreds of homes. We don't have a timer on how long you are on the phone or count your calls; we want quality interactions with our customers.
The CX team at MHVillage is small but mighty. We support each other, but we expect you to work independently and be a problem solver. Management for this team is well-versed and experienced in each of the positions, offering support and guidance in an accessible and inclusive manner. Our team also does a lot of data entry, and we work with Google Sheets and GMail, so experience with both is helpful
In return for your excellent skills and abilities, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, and vision plans, a generous 401(k) employer match, and paid vacations, holidays, and sick time.
We invite you to visit our web site at www.equitylifestyleproperties.com for additional information regarding our exceptional resort communities.
As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we welcome and thank all applicants.
