Job Description

  • Human-Centered Design (HCD) Promotion: Promote HCD methods and practices across the VA. Ensure that design changes are visualized and tested for their impact on all user personas.
  • Agile Collaboration: Participate in live demo calls and react to participant feedback during user sessions to identify and resolve human factor issues in real-time.
    Qualifications

    Advanced Technical Proficiencies:

    • Methods: Mastery of HFE methods, usability studies, and statistical analysis.
    • Standards: Thorough understanding of NIST and ISO standards for healthcare usability.
    • Psychology: Expertise in organizational psychology and cognitive load theory.

Education: Master's Degree in HFE or related field.
