Job description

Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. is a leading electrical contractor seeking to expand its Help Desk support team because of our continued growth. An individual in this role will support a wide variety of current and future technologies in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in our Holliston, MA corporate headquarters as well as our Southeast regions. Each member of our MIS team is focused on providing excellent customer service to our employees and is committed to continuous learning of new technologies to support a business who believes in efficiency, automation, and software development as business solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide first level technical support for up to 1,400 employees in a team setting
  • Setup and maintain mobile devices
  • Setup and support computers and applications in a Microsoft Windows networked environment.
  • Provide support for the companys voice over IP system.
  • Resolve general helpdesk requests to support hardware and applications use.
  • Install, test, and deploy software updates and security patches to maintain endpoint stability, performance, and cybersecurity compliance.

Qualifications include:

  • Troubleshooting experience including software installation and hardware repair as required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows in a networked environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people of all levels.
  • Ability to analyze problems and suggest solutions to address root causes.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
