WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Operating  Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Georgia. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care.  


Job Function:  

  • Shifts: 3x12 Days (36 hours)
  • Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR  
  • Prepare the  operating  room for procedures and  assist  with room turnover  
  • Assist  with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure  
  • Handle and label specimens according to policy  
  • Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards  
  • Identify  and  initiate  corrective actions when necessary  
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow  

Job Requirements:

  • RN License: Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, regulated by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.

  • Practice Standards: Must strictly implement and uphold the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards established by the American Nurses Association (ANA).

  • System Adherence: Responsible for upholding system-wide policies, procedures, and institutional service excellence goals while advocating for the voice of the patient.
