Job Description
Intern with Forest Hills Capital Management
We have openings for college undergraduates and graduates who can work during the Spring 2017 semester on a FULL-TIME basis. Although an unpaid position, our goal is to provide you with valuable hands-on experience and guidance that could lead to a successful career.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Assist other investment professionals in the due diligence process, including market research, financial modeling, and forecasting.
• Financial Modeling & Forecasting
• They will also review financial information, collateral and other assets to assess portfolio risk and profitability.
• Proven organizational and time management skills are critical, as multi-tasking is essential to monitor and engage with the overall portfolio.
• Tracking and maintaining prospect database/lists
• Attend weekly intern activities
Qualifications
To qualify as an intern, you must have the following qualities:
• A preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Must be available full time (40hrs/week) 4-5 days a week.
New York City Candidate Residents ONLY (Must live in New York City right now, NO New Jersey candidates) No exceptions.
• Must be able to commute to Forest Hills, NY for the internship
• Financial, quantitative and organizational skills
• Candidate for Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics or business from an accredited business school with high performing academic record
• At minimum, general financial analysis skills and the ability to read and understand financial statements is required.
• Exceptional communication skills: written and verbal
• Motivated, self-starter, entrepreneurial, hard-working
• High-level computer skills: Design programs, MS Windows Office, Internet, and HTML/ASP/SQL (a plus)
