Clients work directly with a team of experienced professionals who take the time to understand how their business or personal finances operate and provide practical support that adapts as needs change. Job Opportunity and Responsibilities:Stable Rock is seeking a Senior Associate, Outsourced CFO & Accounting Services to join our Investment Management department, that will be responsible for delivering high-quality fund accounting oversight, financial reporting, and outsourced CFO support to alternative investment clients, including private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and related management companies.This role serves as a key client contact and is accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of fund financial operations, investor reporting, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and partnership agreements. The Senior Associate also supports financial strategy, operational improvement, and special projects for fund managers and their management entities.This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter and thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced setting and wants exposure to both fund operations and management company finance. Key Responsibilities:Calculate and review NAV calculations, capital account statements, management fees, carried interest, and incentive allocations.Full cycle accounting for entities as required.Maintain general ledger activity and ensure proper accounting treatment of complex investment transactions.Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and coordinate year-end audit support.Provide CFO support including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.Serve as a primary liaison to clients, auditors, administrators, and other service providers.Identify process improvements and support implementation of accounting systems and controls. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Experience: 3–6+ years of private equity, hedge fund, venture capital, or alternative investment accounting experience. Certifications: CPA or progress toward certification preferred.Skills: Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and fund structures (LPs, GP/management companies).Experience preparing NAVs, capital allocations, waterfalls, and investor reporting.Experience in outsourced CFO or advisory environments.Experience with management company accounting and operational finance functions preferred. Ability to operate independently while collaborating within a small, high-performing team.Software and Technology: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
