NIGHT SHIFT HOSPITALIST
ACUTE CARE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OPENING
Hurst • Euless • Bedford, TEXAS
Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a Physician Assistant Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity on the campus of Texas Health HEB. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients.
POSITION DETAILS:
Ø Assist Hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P's & follow-up visits.
Ø Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses.
Ø Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
Ø Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients
Ø Document using EMR system.
Ø Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.
IF YOU:
Ø Enjoy working night shift, 7PM to 7AM, 7 ON, 7 OFF
Ø Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision making
Ø Texas licensed Acute Care Physician Assistant
Ø ACLS certification
Ø 2 years of PA experience in ICU/CVICU required.
