Summary:
Abbeville Fiber is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator at their Abbeville location. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Essential Duties:
  • Load and unload products and materials using heavy tired equipment (specifically a front-end loader)
  • Unload log trucks
  • Monitor machines to ensure the continued movement of lumber and materials through the plant
  • Operate equipment that feeds lumber and materials through the sawmill
  • Perform clean-up duties daily around machines
  • Weekend work is possible
  • Other duties as assigned
